On that day, Tapan’s condition had abruptly worsened, and Subhash and Preetha sensed he was on the verge of death. The desperate parents rushed the boy to a city hospital in hopes of saving his life, but when the doctors saw the seriousness of the boy’s condition, they refused to admit him for treatment.

Leaving the hospital, Subhash and Preetha felt they had lost their last hope. But a Christian neighbor suggested they take their son to Gospel for Asia missionary Darasingh for prayer.

They found the missionary’s home and Darasingh began to pray. Even he struggled with his emotions as he prayed for the weakened toddler, who was now in an unconscious state. Darasingh also told Tapan’s parents about Jesus Christ and asked if they would like to trust in Him. They received Christ right then, and as the couple joined Darasingh in prayer for Tapan, the boy was healed completely !

As they witnessed this amazing work of the Lord in their toddler’s life, Subhash and Preetha were filled with overwhelming joy and gratitude. They left Darasingh’s house as changed people, giving praises to their new Savior for Tapan’s healing. The very next Sunday they started attending the GFA-related church where Darasingh serves as pastor. They are also quick to proclaim what the Lord had done in their lives.

Darasingh asks for prayer that many others will be drawn to the Savior through the testimony of this family.
